How to activate your superconscious mind

This layer is reached early in life only by a few deeply spiritual people; it becomes more accessible to the yoga practitioner with deep meditation and as we age. It is the place from which we begin to understand the relativity of our bodies and the world. The qualities of gentleness, patience, serenity, humility, and broad-mindedness develop as this layer unfolds. The subtle causal mind has one function: the yearning for self-realization.

This is the thin veil of the mind that separates it from merging with Infinite Consciousness. When we have access to this layer of mind, we re firmly established in universalism; we can no longer make divisions and judgments about others and the world, for we feel that we are a part of every atom of the universe and that the scope of our love is truly infinite.

In summary, the body is composed of the five fundamental factors, which are controlled by the mind. The five layers of mind control, through the vital energy; each of the lower chakras respectively.

The fifth chakra, however, is the controlling point for all of these. Spiritual practices such as meditation in its various forms, yoga postures, and right conduct develop each of these systems. When you are able to gain access to the higher layers of mind, you will have the concentration to control, develop, and strengthen the chakras and the bodily functions, leading to greater mental clarity, emotional stability, and physical longevity.

As the body becomes more refined, the chakras are purified, strengthened, and controlled. Refining the body helps you reach the higher layers of mind. Tantra Yoga is holistic in that it recognizes the interconnectedness and interdependence of body, mind, and spirit.

You cannot attain enlightenment merely by doing yoga postures; you will not if you neglect the body, for at some point the unrefined body will not be able to handle the subtlety of mind, and it will break down. Through centuries of experimentation, a scientific physical and mental system was developed to safely and easily attain the bliss of higher consciousness and then integrate these expanded states with normal, waking consciousness, to live life with fuller awareness.

This system is meditation. Its skilled and qualified teachers are celibate monks and nuns though there are advanced practitioners with families who are also trained to be teachers. They are known by their brilliant orange attire and have dedicated their lives to practicing and teaching meditation and serving humanity.

Their meditation lessons are free of charge. Terms and Conditions Privacy Policy. Join our growing community of mindful writers, and contributors. Follow your favorite authors and more! Select a topic. Join the Community or Sign in.

Whenever you look at the pictures on the board, you remind yourself and strengthen your subconscious mind on the things that you desire.

John Assaraf, the author of Having It All and also a guru that has been featured in the groundbreaking movie and book, The Secret, once said he cut out a picture of a house he loved from a magazine to paste it on his vision board. Many years later, he forgot about his vision board and then he moved to his new house and discovered his old vision board.

John was amazed because he had just bought and moved into the exact house that he visualized through his vision board. In fact, affirmation is just like a pep-talk where athletes use to boost their drive and help them focus better on what they want. Take basketball as an example. This is known as a pep-talk, and affirmation has the same effect. Affirmation is easy to practice.

You just need to say the words, whether out loud or inside your head, regularly each day. The problem with most people is that they are not consistent enough. They may practice affirmation for a day or two. However, they will forget about doing it after a few days when they lost in the business of their daily life.

Another issue why affirmation is not working well for most people is that they are just practicing affirmation for the sake of doing it. They forget a very important factor that makes the affirmation works, their feelings. If you are just doing affirmation for the sake of doing it, and you never get to feel the emotions from it, you will never make it work.

Therefore, the next time you practice your affirmations, repeat them as many times as you need, make sure you do it regularly each day and attach feelings and emotions to it. If you are serious about activating your subconscious mind to help you achieve what you want in life, you must be willing to venture out of your comfort zone.

Getting out of your comfort zone can be a very powerful exercise that you can utilize to boost your brain power because you are experiencing exponential growth from doing things that are out of your norm. Studies have proved that travel to a place you have never been before is good, do you know why? This is because when you travel to a place that you have never been before, you are creating new neural pathways in your brain.

You do things that you have never done before; hence, the neurons in your brain will connect with each other in a new way, creating new pathways. When you do and experience something new, you are actually expanding your comfort zone.

You are programming your subconscious to think outside the box to do something different. As a result, you boost your confidence level and grow better on the inside.

This is why experts suggest us to travel more, get to experience new things and try out things that we have never tried before. Inject freshness and make your life more alive by doing new things.

Try out a new restaurant, visit a museum, learn to speak a new language, learn to play a musical instrument you have always wanted, take a different route to work and read a different genre of books. Free writing is just like brainstorming. It is a process where all you need to do is to record down your thoughts on paper.

However, this technique does not only apply to writers, anyone can practice free writing to overcome mental roadblocks and at the same time, activating their subconscious mind to achieve more. When you free write, you are acknowledging your roadblocks, problems, and obstacles that you face, and the process of doing this allows you to clear your mind and free your emotions from cluttering your mind. And just like visualization and affirmation, when you free write, you must do it consistently every day to see the effect.

If you just do it for once or twice, it will never work for you. Free write can make you more relax just like how meditation did. Plus, the process of jotting down your thoughts can make you more creative because you are crafting your own story on paper. You have to use your brain to think and this flexes your creative muscles and makes it stronger. Another amazing benefit you can get from free writing is that you learn to trust yourself better.
